Left Behind – Promoting the rights and well-being of children left-behind in transnational families

This meeting is a necessary step to make further progress in the active promotion of children’s rights and well-being in transnational families, stimulating parliamentary debates and furthering employment and social policies.
Aim of the 2-hour meeting is to let this group of children be considered officially a vulnerable group by EU institutions and understand which actions can be realistically taken accordingly to protect them and promote their rights, helping at the same time the life of the transnational family.
