Edito dal Berghof Forschungszentrum für konstruktive Konfliktbearbeitung (Research Center for Constructive Conflict Management) di Berlino, tale saggio si pone come finalità quella di proporre un quadro esaustivo delle difficoltà affrontate dai professionisti in peacebuilding all'indomani del conflitto jugoslàvo.
Lo studio svolto da Ivana Franović evidenzia le problematiche che si incrociano in quest' area (l'importanza del "Confronto con il passato" per la trasformazione del conflitto) che anche il Berghof Research Center ha recentemente individuato e che intende approfondire nel prossimo futuro con progetti di ricerca.
